Alexa Vega will play a character named Killjoy in the upcoming Robert Rodriguez film “Machete Kills”. Vega is best known for her role as Carmen, one of the Spy Kids in Spy Kids. Alexa recently posted a picture of her character from Machete Kills to Instagram, and if the costume in the picture is any indication, a lot of teenage boys will be watching the movie in slow motion when it comes out on DVD.
Vega will be onscreen with Danny Trejo (you’ll know him when you see him), Mel Gibson, Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Cuba Gooding Jr. and Lady Gaga in Machete Kills. The story will follow Machete as he is hired by the U.S. Government to take on an arms dealer with an eye on outer space.
Alexa Vega was photographed last year getting into her car, which looks like a Ranger Rover as far as I can tell. The Range Rover might be the go-to ride for celebrities that want to look fancier than the Escalade and Land Cruiser set, but it’s still a pretty cool car, whether in offroad-ready Range Rover form or as the sports car on stilts Range Rover Sport.
In addition to being beautiful, Alexa Vega knows what makes Instagram great.
