Mercedes C Class Coupe

Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new 2012 C-Class coupe at the Geneva Motor Show. The C-Class coupe will allow Mercedes to compete with the BMW 3-Series coupe for buyers who want a four-seater luxury coupe. The new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe will be smaller and less expensive than the CLK-Class coupe, which was discontinued after the 2009 model year and positioned between the BMW 3-Series and 6-Series coupes. The C- and E-Class coupes will compete directly with BMW’s two-door cars.

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe has a lower roof line than the sedan model, but it is instantly recognizable as a C-Class. The C-Class coupe has a front end that matches the new C-Class sport models.

2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe

The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class coupe will be available with a four-cylinder engine, which will give the 2012 C250 good gas mileage and hopefully a lower starting price than the BMW 328 coupe. The C250 coupe will have a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 201-hp. There will also be a 2012 C350 coupe available with a 304-hp direct injected V6 engine.

According to Autoblog, a C63 AMG coupe will also be available in the near future. The current C63 AMG has a 6.3-liter V8 engine with 451-hp, a seven-speed automatic transmission and a 0-60 time of just 4.3 seconds, so expect the C63 AMG coupe to match that.
