Automotive news publication Edmunds.com has recently stated that the best value for money lease is non other than the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, or EVO as it’s known to car enthusiasts around the world. Yes, that’s right the EVO. A performance car to the core, the EVO is a rally-bred street rocket.
At $389 a month, the Lancer Evolution “is ranked at the top of our metrics as far as lease deals go,” says Jessica Caldwell, manager of pricing and industry analysis for Edmunds.com. The particular lease deal is for a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR four-door sedan with all-wheel drive and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission. This particular Lancer Evo has an MSRP of $32,990, but due to the circumstances within Mitsubishi, it’s also the best deal out there as far as leases are concerned.
If your a real hard-core driving enthusiast and appreciate a good deal, than this is your calling. The Lancer Evolution is a lot of car for the money so it’s already great value. Lease one though, and you’ll take the savings one step further.
