Aston Martin is known for producing some gorgeous sports cars. The storied British mark has been in the business of style and speed for almost a century. Heck, even James Bond has one, and pretty sure he could drive anything he wants to.
But now Aston is stepping into a realm they’ve never occupied, the supercar realm. Rumors have literally been non-existent, that’s how secret this was kept. In fact word was going around that one of the engineers said something to one of his family members and when company brass found out they promptly gave him the pink slip! This was a serious undercover operation.
Not much is know, but Aston Martin has released a teaser website. Details revealed are minuscule. The car will feature a 7.0-liter V12 under a handmade aluminum skin and a carbon-fiber backbone chassis. The website describes the One-77 as “the ultimate creative interpretation of the renowned British marque” and says the car “will deliver exhilarating performance for a strictly limited number of discerning customers.”
Rumor has it that when the car debut’s at this years Paris Auto Show it will be priced in Veyron territory at about $2 Million dollars. Lot’s of money, but then again, lots of Aston!
