Caught out during hot weather testing, Porsche’s newest model (the four-door Panemera) is almost ready for the big leagues. Warm weather testing means that this German sports sedan is almost done with it’s prototype phase and is only a few months away from the dealership showroom floor.
The pictures don’t really show anything new to us. Apperantly that hatchback bulge in the rear is really part of the final design, and not some sort of disguise as some people had hoped. One buddy of mine recently commented to me that “…it’s like the Hunchback of Stuttgart!” I’llĀ wait to see it in the flesh before passing final judgment, but I see what he’s getting at.
For now though, here are some spy shots. We can at least see the wheels that will probably be standard on the new V6 models. Also we can notice that there is a hitch attached to the back! Does this mean it’s actually rated for towing?! We’ll let you know as soon as we get more info.
Above: Maybe my friend was a bit harsh in his assessment, but that rear end is bulbous….
