Pontiac has some exciting days ahead. Their dealerships are receiving the new Pontiac G8 sport sedans March 1st, but the excitement is already here.
The G8 is the replacement to the lackluster selling GTO. Though the GTO ressurected a nameplate and was a brilliant performer, it sold poorly. Even a bump in displacement in it’s V8 engine wasn’t enough (from 5.7 to 6.0 liters) Hey that’s a jump of 5o horsepower!
So now Pontiac is trying with brand new redesign. The G8 looks fresh, were the GTO looked a bit 1990’s. Also it will come with V6 and V8 engines.
1,800 new G8’s are already on the boats from Australia and are heading this way. So if you want one then hurry to your Pontiac dealer and get your name on that list. I have a feeling these are going to go fast on the road and at the dealer lots!
