Things have been good for the Mustang. Ford’s pony car has experienced a steady sales pace thanks to it’s retro image and good value for money.
Yet, with two very important competitors on the horizon (Chevy Camaro & Dodge Challenger) the Ford Motor Co. is doing what they can to keep interest in it’s retro muscle/sports car.
One thing Ford will do is offer a new glass roof option for 2009. The glass roof will not be a sliding type sunroof, but rather, a fixed piece of UV protected glass. The roof will come with a roll-out blind in case you need more privacy.
At $1,995.00, it is not cheap, but it should keep the Mustang line-up fresh. The option will be stand-alone and can be ordered for any Mustang (except the convertible, duh). Look for it in the middle of next year.
