Cars.com has a story on Kicking Tires which list 10 cars that sell for under$10,000 just in time for school. Cars that made the list include the Ford Focus, Ford Taurus, Mazda Protege, Mercury Sable, Buick LeSabre, Ford Windstar, Chevy Impala, Honda Civic, Honda Accord and the Olds Aurora. Of course these are all pre-2004 models but the writer thinks they are the best buys. I would not buy a used Ford car but others would.
